So how much would you expect to pay for everything on the above list? Well, I can tell you....the whole pallet was up for sale for just under £900 (plus VAT). Yes, I did say £900 - take another look at the list and see what £900 actually buys - just the two 28" TV's and the 3 DVD players are worth more than that. That means that for just over £1,000 you can purchase in excess of £4,000 worth of stock (normal retail price). Obviously this pallet will have been sold by now, but this wholesaler has lots of similar pallets of all kinds of stock for sale, all of which are changing regularly. And to make it even easier to buy, this particular wholesaler lists his stock on the internet so that you can buy online!! How much easier can it get? And before you panic and say 'I haven't got £1000 to spend on a pallet' - you don't have to - pallet prices start from just £125!!

A word about drop-shipping...

I regularly get emails from people asking if my directory contains details of UK drop-shippers, so I would like to take a moment to comment on this matter.

Drop-shipping is when a wholesaler will ship a single item direct to your customer so that you don't have to do any packing or posting. It also means you don't need to buy stock until you have actually made a sale. Drop-shipping is big business in America as huge competition has forced wholesalers down this route to the point where nearly everyone is 'doing it'.

However, this is not the case in the UK and suppliers in this country are only just starting to offer drop-shipping services.

Ask yourself this - why would a wholesaler want to sell just one of a particular item? Not only that, but why would they want to deal with packing and shipping that item individually? The answer of course is that they wouldn't, unless they absolutely had to. In America the suppliers clearly do have to, but not in the UK (at least not yet).

If a wholesaler is drop-shipping, then they are effectively retailing (ie. selling to the end-user) but without the higher profit margin.

Many of the so-called UK drop-shipping companies are merely web-based businesses that are simply acting as middlemen and buying from the exact same wholesalers as are listed in my wholesale directory. They will normally charge a 'membership fee' upfront and will then add on their own margin before selling to you.

Why pay a middleman when you can buy direct from the source at the TRUE wholesale price?

Don't be fooled into believing that wholesalers have huge minimum orders - the majority of the suppliers in my directory have a minimum order of between £50 and £200 and many don't have ANY minimum order whatsoever!
