Buying websites online
I’ve been spending some time recently looking at the possibility of buying a couple of website businesses. Why? Well, I want to expand my portfolio but quite frankly, I am too lazy to start something from scratch! // Buying an established business means I can pick up a site which...

TheUKTrader.co.uk – what’s it all about?
// Over the years, I have written and published countless articles, podcasts, ebooks and other info-products covering various topics related to Internet marketing. The end of an era…
As I mentioned in my last newsletter, The Online Trader is about to be put to bed forever
It is almost six years since I first published an email newsletter and since then, I have sent out a newsletter every two weeks (ok, I did miss a couple of dates but if you look back through the archives you will see that my delivery was pretty faultless!)
The vast majority of my newsletters are archived here: http://www.theuktrader.co.uk/archives-4/ although I am afraid I didn’t keep copies of the very early editions so I guess they are gone forever…
So why am I stopping?
Well, there are several reasons but the main one is simply that it is time for something different. After so long, I must admit that I am finding it harder and harder to sit down each week and come up with something worthwhile to write about. Don’t get me wrong, I have plenty of information etc to pass on but it is often too much to fit within a single page newsletter.
Also, if I am being completely honest, I have lost a lot of my interest in the ‘email newsletter’ format. It is something which has been done to death and it is getting harder and harder to get emails to people, never mind getting them read! So, as I say, it is time for a change.
The good news is that what I have planned to replace the Online Trader Newsletter should be considerably better both in terms of getting content to YOU and in terms of entertainment. Business doesn’t have to be boring! I am very excited about the new project and I am looking forward to the launch in January!
For now let me just say that TheWadCast is coming
(Whilst you are more than welcome to bookmark the above website, I will of course email you again once there is more to see).
For now, I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. I would also like to thank anyone who has made a purchase from me during the past year and a huge thank-you to the tens of thousands of subscribers who have read the Online Trader newsletter over the past 6 years.
Watch out for TheWadCast in 2007!
