The WadCast
In 2007, I decided to replace my email newsletter (after more than 5 years) with a regular podcast which I produced with an online colleague and friend, Stuart Morrison.
The WadCast first ‘aired’ in January 2007 and ran for 13 shows plus 2 ‘bonus’ shows. We built up quite a following and the shows were listened to by a large number of people but unfortunately the huge amount of work involved in producing The WadCast meant that it was difficult for us to find time to meet up regularly and record the shows. Also, The WadCast never turned into a particularly profitable venture for either of us and therefore given that it ended up being more of a hobby rather than a good use of business time, it was eventually put to bed in May 2007.
The WadCast’s all contain some good snippets of information though and they are a light-hearted listen so I have preserved them here for the benefit of anyone who wishes to hear them.

The WadCast – Episode 1
In the first ever Wadcast, Richard and Stuart find that they already have a regular feature after just 3 minutes on air! Other topics discussed include New Year resolutions and planning and the benefits/downsides of multiple income streams online. Plus the first Wadcast competition with a $200+ Internet marketing course up for grabs!

The WadCast – Episode 2
Episode 2 of The WadCast sees us dealing with the first of our fan mail as we do our best to answer questions about eBay and buying from wholesalers. Net Peeves is also back which is our opportunity to have a bit of a moan about the things that irritate us most about working on the Internet. Plus we give away our first competition prize, a $200 Internet marketing course!

Episode 3 of The WadCast sees us dealing with more emails from our listeners (keep them coming) and this week we discuss how a complete newbie to Internet marketing can get started. Plus the pros and cons of pay per click advertising. Of course it wouldnt be The WadCast without Net Peeves and we want to hear from you if you have a Net Peeve which we can discuss!
