About the UK-Trader

Founded and managed by Richard Grady, the UK-Trader site was set up to promote and sell the best-selling eBook, the 'UK-Trader's UK Wholesale Guide'.

The idea for the UK-Trader website was originally formulated in 2001, following the huge success of the above directory.

The 'UK-Trader's UK Wholesale Guide' was written following Richard's experiences of trying to locate quality wholesalers from which to buy stock to then sell on eBay.

Several updates later and the UK-Trader's UK Wholesale Guide continues to be our most popular product and has sold in excess of 15,000 copies to date.

In 2003, the 'UK-Trader's Private Site' was added to our product range. The Private Site contains far more information than the eBook guide and is a 'must have' for anyone wishing to get involved in the business of buying and selling for profit or fun.

When the idea for the UK-Trader site was originally conceived, it was expected that our customers would mainly be online auction sellers - small traders working part-time from home. This was correct to a certain extent and indeed a large percentage of our customers and subscribers fall into this category. However, we have also found that our products and services are useful to shop owners, car-boot sellers, market traders etc. In fact, just about anyone buying and selling, whether online or offline, full or part-time.

Following the success of the UK-Trader website, a US version of the website was launched in 2002 and now provides similar products and services to our customers in North America. More details at www.theustrader.com
